Mayan Coffee

Mayan coffee is grown in numerous areas within Central America including the highland areas of Mexico and Guatemala. The coffee beans start as small red bulbs on short bush-like trees and turn green as they mature. When red, the outer portion of the bulb has a sweet taste and turns sour as the crop matures.
